9th - 11th grade students: Are you interested in entering an essay contest? The Optimist International contest is open to all 9-11th grade students and you have the opportunity to win an award and a $2500 scholarship. Stop by Student Services to pick up an application. 2/13


Need a Prom Dress? Any young ladies who would love to go to prom but have difficulties purchasing a prom dress please see your Guidance Counselor, Mrs. Mundy or Ms. Jordan for more information. 2/14

Congratulations to the Rams Track teams for their outstanding performances at the 3A Indoor State Championship. State medalists were 4th place: Ciara Robinson, Julia McKissick, Lamya Quarles, Hannah Shepard and Imani Williams; 3rd place: Wyatt Dershem and 2nd place, Gable Dershem. 2/13


Congratulations to the Rams Wrestling team on their 10th place finish this weekend at the NCHSAA 3A East Regional Championship. Jackson Desaulniers and Zach Lejnar qualified for the NCHSAA 3A State Championships. Jackson is the first freshman in school history to make the State tournament. 2/13


Sophomores & Juniors: Are you interested in participating in the Career & College Promise program and earning FREE college credit in the Fall? Come to Student Services to pick up a pass and sign up for an appointment to meet with a  counselor on February 14th or 15th in the Media Center, Please sign up by MOnday at Power Lunch if you are interested. 2/13



Lost & Found: There are numerous items in the Front Office Lost & Found such as lunch boxes, coats, backpacks, shoes, etc. If these items are not claimed by Friday, February 17th they will be donated to Goodwill. 2/17


Seniors: Johnston Community College representatives will be at Cleveland on Thursday, February 16th. Students may apply and meet with the reps to discuss next steps. Sign up as soon as possible in Student Services. Don’t miss out! 2/16


All Spring Sports tryouts will begin on Monday, February 13th after school. All prospective players interested in trying out must have an up to date physical and completed concussion form. Forms can be picked up in the front office or from any spring sports coach. 2/6-2/13
